Andersen Oil Company

I’ve been using Andersen Oil since I moved into my home in 2022. They’ve been amazing. I have an older heating system and I have issues with it occasionally which can be very scary. This is the second time I’ve had to use their emergency services for heating issues and they show up promptly and know exactly what to do to make sure our heat is up and running. Oil delivery is always extremely professional and prompt as well. Lucky to have such a great local business to help us with our heating needs, especially during a cold winter like this one.

Have had Andersen since buying my home, and have always been satisfied with their service... This was above and beyond!! Called around 8:15am on a Saturday for heating issues, inside temp down to 50ish degrees and outside temps in the teens. Tech was at my house in less than an hour despite 6 inches of fresh snow, was very friendly and courteous, and fixed two separate problems within about 30 minutes. Super thankful to Nicki and Chad for the prompt service saving our pipes and our weekend plans!!

What a Great Oil Company! We have had contract service with them for a number of years and get automatic oil delivery, too. I can almost always figure when they will be out making our deliveries. And when we have any issue that involves our furnace, they make every effort to get out to take a look at what is going on and get it fixed as quickly as they can. Having used other local companies before them in the past, we are extremely satisfied with them & would highly recommend them.

Said a prayer shortly after getting up this morning cause I knew my oil was low. It’s a Sunday. Certainly don’t expect them to be working…. not 30 minutes later I see the Anderson truck outside my house and they filled me up ! the service that they provide is exceptional so grateful to have a place as a customer with this company .oh and the poor guy had to trudge through thigh high snow to get to tank!! 👍

If I could leave less than one star I would, Andersen Oil of Ledyard operates with little regard for their own customers or politeness, on various occasions my wife and I both asked them to cancel automatic delivery and they did not. Additionally once successful on cancelling automatic delivery, when my wife called to schedule a delivery of oil their answering attendant, Shelly, was rude, standoffish and generally disinterested in working with my wife, when I called back her demeanor was not much better as she lied about having spoken with my wife. We will be taking our business to a different oil company. I suggest anyone who reads this review does the same.
