A French drain was installed and the crawl space under the house was "done". There were charges for dirt, lye and plastic for the purpose of creating moisture barrier. The drain install was completed as stated however the crawl space was not. It was cleaned and dried but no barrier applied. About a month later a certified inspector came out and stated that the crawl space was not done properly and there was no actual moisture barrier put in place. There was still debris and standing water and mud and it was unsafe to complete the inspection. Fungus was found in the crawlspace as well so there was never any long term treatment done.
