Working with Ann Arbor Handy was a great experience from start to finish. I had a total bathroom renovation along with painting and wainscoting in the master bedroom. I am very happy with everything they did. Pete’s tile work is top notch! Pete and his team were timely, tidy and very professional. I would highly recommend his services.

I hired Ann Arbor Handy (Pete Petkov) for a full bathroom gut renovation. His craftsmanship is outstanding — the tiling looks like art and the space is completely transformed. He’s a true artisan. We hit a few surprises along the way that required extra work, and he handled them with skill and professionalism (though of course at additional cost). He charges at the higher end, but the outstanding quality of his work is worth it. A couple of notes for future clients: • Carefully review his itemized estimates — he will do exactly what’s written. • I had a few issues with the subcontractors he used (plumbing and tub reglazing), so consider sourcing your own if needed. Overall, the result is phenomenal. If you want top-notch quality and are willing to invest in it, I highly recommend him.

If you are planning a renovation project, Ann Arbor Handy is the company to call! This is our third project with Pete and his crew. They completed a full kitchen renovation for us (see before and after pictures). Pete is extremely knowledgeable about all things home renovation and he is an excellent communicator and always professional. He and his crew do very high quality work and we are beyond happy with our new kitchen. Highly recommend!!

I am a long time client of Ann Arbor Handy, from large to small jobs, including tear down of an old deck and rebuild of a new one, extensive replacement of exterior wood trim, and repair of an old Michigan basement. I cannot praise Plamen, the owner, enough. The quality of his workmanship is outstanding - in fact, the best I've ever experienced, and his range of skills is truly remarkable. Plamen is personally involved with every job, and is a top-notch professional, keeping his commitments, consulting with the client, and carefully explaining options.
