5+ stars for Alec Serowtka and the team at APS Masonry. Three years ago we decided to remodel the basement in our 100 year old Chestnut Hill home. We wanted an entertainment space where we could host family and friends with ease. We realized that we would need to dig down into the foundation to increase the head room to a comfortable height. After interviewing several general contractors and design firms, we realized what we really needed was a masonry company who would be comfortable with the size and scope of the job. Looking at reviews online, it was clear that APS Masonry had the highest number of 5 star satisfied reviews. Once we met Alec it was clear why. APS did an amazing job with our bathroom renovation. We wanted it updated with more storage & wanted it to feel less cramped. The pony wall (pictures were taken before glass install), recessed medicine cabinet & storage cabinet were the perfect solutions without having to change the layout. The guys were all super helpful & so great throughout the project! The bathroom feels like a spa now & we couldn’t be happier with their work. Would definitely recommend for any of your home renovations !!

APS Masonry did a fabulous job of repointing the bricks on our 1960's house. Our mortar is an atypical color and Alec was a wizard in finding the right color combination so that the repair is almost invisible! Customer service was excellent, too, leaving the job site just as it was found. Highly recommend!

At first glance I thought the price was high, however, Alec’s team did an above-and-beyond job, no shortcuts, real craftsmen. Highly recommend Alec, Charlie, Eddie, Kai and the rest of the crew. They were clean and respectful, even among themselves when we were in the house.

The attached photo was our chimney. Three stories up and the chimney was slowly falling off of our roof and allowing water in. We had multiple outrageous quotes to rebuild the chimney. Alec was the first and only Mason to suggest that we take the chimney down completely, and replace our boiler system with a high efficiency system so that a chimney was no longer needed. This solution was innovative, cost-effective, and executed perfectly. I recommend APS to anyone with a complicated project that needs to be done right!
