We were recommended Arlmont by a friend who's family had used them a few times for different things. We were looking to get central air put in. They came in, gave us a quote, seemed very professional. We signed initial agreements for the work to be done. They seemed to be stalling on finalizing a contract, dragging things out. We got the feeling something was up. Finally, we got an email saying they have better jobs and they're dropping us. They casually mentioned they MIGHT be able to get to us in the next 6 months. "Thank you for understanding and best of luck."... Over three weeks wasted only to get an EMAIL, not even a phone call. Very unprofessional. We called another local company. They came in, gave us a slightly higher quote and started work less than a week later.

Never review things but had to say to steer clear of these guys. Initial rate is fine, then bump you up (about $1/gal over market) and they missed auto delivery causing the tank to run out. Ryan gave a few excuses but between him and a few different staff I talked to, they were generally rude—customer service is at the bottom of their priority list.

I’ve been with this company for 22 years. One day, my oil burner stopped working. I called the company, and they sent F.. After 2 hours of working on the burner, he declared it fixed. The “fix” lasted about 5 hours, and the same problem with the same symptoms returned. The following morning, they sent a different tech, J.. He fixed the problem in 20 minutes (a simple photosensor replacement). This time, the problem was fixed properly. However, a $700 repair bill (the price of a brand-new burner) surprised me. I called the owner, R., and he told me that I had to pay for the first visit (2 hours) as well, although it didn’t fix the problem. I objected, and he replied, “If you know so much, why call us, fix it yourself”. I told him that this was unjustified and that I’d consider filing a comp

I needed a new oil tank. I called Arlmont and Brenton was at my house later that day to see what I needed. I got a great price assessment and had a brand new tank installed that week!!! Great service

We have had Brendon do our yearly oil burner cleaning /maintenance and to replace a oil tank. Does great work and answered questiond we had. Highly recommend!!
