How hard is it to do a basic search online of flooring you are suppose to be matching to make sure you're even in same color family and it matches before shipping out? My trim was ordered thru Hurst Hardwood to match Mullican Hickory Provincial, when it was received it WASN'T EVEN CLOSE to matching! This resulted in me having to get more trim from Hurst sent overnight and stain myself so installer could finish job.

Few manufacturers that i get flooring material from use them for trims and 8 out of 10 times i get trim that does not match the flooring and it throws my schedule totally off, as the lead time is about 2 weeks. Last order i had was for natural red oak and they put an orange stain on it, no idea why as all you have to do is finish it and it will match any natural red oak product, so that pushed me to leave this review.

I’ve ordered accessories from artistic finishes for many years. They do exceptional work and their main guy that stain samples is extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to builders, flooring installers and finish carpenters.

If I could give negative stars I would. Run from this supplier. They will not stand behind their manufacturing defects after advising the contractor to install the product anyway ( we brought up concerns immediately after receiving of custom landing and stair treads) only to have the landing incur a relatively large crack in under 6 months. They act incredibly inconvenienced and drag their feet in communication as well as turn times in general. Nothing was ever done even close to on time. The color blend/match they did to our LVP flooring was beautiful but not worth the headache IMO as we’ve had to endure excuse after excuse and money spent trying to fix this. Recommend to avoid.

We ordered hardwood floors from our local flooring retailer and all was fine...but when we needed a stair nose, our flooring retailer said Artistic Finishes is the "official" molding company for Lauzon, Mirage, Somerset, and a lot of the big manufacturers. BS! These guys are the "official" suppliers for no one. They sent us a molding that was way off from the dimensions we expected, and the color didnt even match. 3 times we had to send it back, and each time they could not match the color. Not to mention it takes weeks and weeks between each delivery. Lots of wasted time from this nonsense, and really screwed up our project. Extremely shady...really wish you could buy directly from manufacturers instead of dealing with lies from third-party retailers and suppliers.
