I had a clean water spill that was active for less than 10 minutes. By the time ASAP Evap arrived next day, I had already pulled the shoe kicks and had my own drying equipment running. Fans, dehumidifiers. All. Despite doing the bulk of the labor myself, they sent an estimate for $2,749.00 at 9pm. They came at 10am. I had already finished and all was STILL going with fans and dehumidifier. The man said. “Wow, you’ve already done what we would’ve had to do.” The "air scrubbing" they line itemed was unnecessary for a 10-minute clean water event. They tried to say it was bc I showed them a shoe kick with some mold, but it was obvious and both agreed that’s from an old leak.
