Astoria Granite Works

We had a great experience with Astoria Granite Works. So glad we found them. Brooke and Dan were fantastic to work with. Very friendly, professional and during this time of Covid, we had an amazingly fast turnaround. We found a wonderful remnant piece for a bathroom vanity. They have a great selection of high quality quartz, granite and marble, and track every remnant in their warehouse, unlike other stone yards we have visited. The piece we chose was fabricated to perfection and fit exactly in place with no issues. We would use them again in a heartbeat. Jan and Jim

We began with a small project of replacing the counter top in our guest bathroom with modern quartz. Our project grew to replacing our kitchen counter tops and island with quartz. And finally, this week we replaced the vanity in our master bath with quartz. Throughout the whole project Astoria Granite helped us every step of the way. Brooke provided samples and answered all our questions. Dan came to our home to measure and template the countertops using the latest laser technology equipment to assure accuracy. And lastly, the installation crew did and excellent job with the installation, from tear-out to clean up. Zero attention to detail, poor workmanship, and terrible communication. This place had a great reputation under the previous owners but the new owner does not seem to care about the quality of his work. We were doing a no expense spared dream remodel on our house and since these guys were the only game in town we used them. My wife and our contractor both gave them explicit instructions on how we wanted our slabs cut both in writing and over the phone and they ignored them and cut a slab into pieces when they were instructed to keep it intact. They were supposed to have an in person meeting to make sure no mistakes were made, but the owner blew off repeated requests and just did it his way. The owner apologized and offered a slight discount, but the damage had been done and his work

Astoria Granite Works really came through for us! Brooke was amazingly prompt in getting back with the quote and paperwork and were within our budget. The crew came right away to measure the job, we actually picked up the material to help with the timeframe. We ended up selecting a different product that met our needs and the install went flawlessly. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing solid surface product for their home construction project. We are so happy with the end result

Everyone here has been amazing to work with. They are friendly, clean, and helpful--really one of the best companies we have dealt with in our entire bathroom gut. There are a handful of granite companies that were closer to us but I found them to be cranky/not helpful when I even called with questions. I couldn't recommend Granite Works more.
