I called the main office number to get an estimate on a washing machine repair. After a 15 minute look over and $100 fee the estimate came in at about the same as a new machine. I didn't want to do the work myself and was willing to pay for the service. In the end I did the repair myself with a $180 spider assembly and new bolts. What's the point of repair shops if they can't do or don't want to do the major repairs at a reasonable price? Total estimate should have been less than $400 so don't bother with this repair shop.

The work on our gas range was fine, took about 20 minutes. The technician was on time. The labor was very expensive. The part, a new igniter, costs about $120- we know because we bought one and my husband did the work previously. (Unfortunately the part was faulty and we didn't know it). The technician replaced the igniter again. The bill was over $400 with tax, meaning the labor was about $270 for less than 30 minutes.
