Avoid this place at all costs. They sold my mother a $250 pool ladder that we cannot use because the building inspectors are saying it is not compliant with safety codes. At Home Rec did NOT mention this to us when we purchased the ladder. This has been an absolute nightmare, and they will not refund the money for the ladder. Why would anyone sell a pool ladder that you can't use??? Absolutely disgusting place i will never go there again.

Purchased a Swim spa April of 23. Nothing but problems since I’ve had it! My latest problem is that the heater went. They came out and diagnosed it and then told me they would come the following week to replace it. I had to call to find out when they would be out to replace it and they told me they would come out that day. They came out and put a new heater in but that didn’t fix the trouble. I called the service line and left a message but no response. I called the manahawkin store to complain and was told I would get a call from the manager. Never received a call. At this point I will have to go to the Manufacturer to see if I can bypass this inept company! I will go elsewhere to purchase anything else! Horrible service from this company!

In one month spent 15,000 at this store. 10,000 on a hot tub 2,500 on a pool heater 1,500 on a patio set with unbrella In the past three years bought two pools as well which together was close to 10 thousand Took wrapping off chairs was missing plastic pieces that cover ends of chairs had to bring back three of the chairs Before I left put table together started inspecting table and it had missing paint scuff marks. And no I didn’t do it left table in box to put legs on and flipped it over two people without touching ground. Go to bring chairs back 30 minute ride yes they exchanged no problem. I tell him about the table no I’m sorry nothing oh you can bring it back. All I got table is huge had to bring trailer to get it not so i just said forget it n will deal with it. Fast forward Ho

I purchased a $15,000 pool package from At Home Recreation, Manahawkin. After a couple of weeks, the motor died as it was defective. I had no issues with the return but the reinstall was delayed over a week during 100 degree weather. Needless to say, it will take a long period of time in order to get the pool swimmable. I understand that it out of your company’s control, but I wanted you to understand my experience thus far. I had called the store once we realized our contractor (our hire) could get the deck surrounding our pool completed earlier than anticipated and asked if we could return the gate we purchased to buy tiered steps inside the pool. I explained that when our package was delivered it began raining shortly after and all of the equipment was delivered outside so the box
