Totally rip off. They charged me $309 just for the visit ( my attorney doesn't charge me that fee for 1 hour of consultation), selling the idea that the deposit is towards whatever work or maintenance to perform. When he was here, his diagnostic was almost a reconstruction of the chimney for $14,000. Alternative option was to install a $5,000 fan on the chimney tower. At this point neither option sounds affordable or reasonable. Long story short, I lose the money because I decided to go with someone else. I brought a different company and for $2,000 fix the chimney and is working perfectly for the past 18 months. With this cold weather use it almost daily, without any issues.

Chuck was great to work with. He came out within two days of my call when my chimney was letting water leak through. He identified the problem right away and told me what needed to be done to fix it. Chuck and his team made us a custom chimney cap faster than he initially estimated. They came less than a week later to install, seal our cracks and gaps and complete the job. I would highly recommend Chuck and his team for any chimney work you need.

He has a crew of two guys who do initial inspections & a scheduler who puts you on the calendar. All phone numbers on the website goes to Chuck's phone. Truthfully he can be hard to get a hold of at times. He may get caught at an earlier job and you might have to reschedule. But this is because he is thorough and gives time and attention to each job. You just need proper expectations. Most likely his 2-man crew will come out for an initial inspection and report back to Chuck. GHOSTED ME AND DID NOT CALL. I made an appointment for an inspection for due diligence on a house purchase. Due diligence time is limited and ghosting someone makes it difficult. Read Yelp reviews and you will see that Chuck makes a habit of ghosting customers. Call Log Lighter’s or Cunningham and Sons, they are very helpful and responsive.

Chuck and his team were great! They showed up for both appointments on time, were clean and very thorough! They checked everything completely, provided pictures, explained things in detail and replaced some cracked firewall as well as the chimney cap. Very personable! Next year we will also use them to clean the chimney! Highly recommend!
