Had a deck design come to life and with a quick turnaround. Responded quickly to my texts. On time , reasonable and retuned to replace a crooked post without issue. Even with an emergency on site during the building process Stephen resolved it swiftly and brought in a plumber to fix the emergency. Would definitely recommend for any future projects . Deck size is 16x18 with built in privacy screens. Used a mix of pressure treated lumber and composite boards. Pleased with final project and enjoying my new space.

We just completed our second major project with the fellows from Authentic Carpentry. As always, we were extremely pleased with the workmanship, but here are some points we also consider important. The Team showed up when expected, every day there was a cleanup, our requests for additional work were honored, and, any changes were discussed thoroughly. Stephen Esh would always recap the day's work and set a mutual time to arrive next. We highly recommend Authentic Carpentry.

Stephen and his team has completed a few projects at our house and done so in a timely manner, within budget, and with the utmost professionalism. We needed new stairs put on our deck and Stephen gave me a fair quote and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time. His work was high quality. I would definitely hire him again.
