I did lots of research and many estimates and Basement Gurus was the best value for high quality. Josh and the team were kind and reasonable, and did an excellent job explaining each piece of the process. They completed my basement in a timely manner, and handled everything including water management, ceiling support, gaining headroom, as well as replacing windows and stairs. Basement Gurus is truly all encompassing in their scope of work, and clearly committed to customer service and satisfaction. I would recommend anyone I know to this team to resolve their basement needs.

I had previously given 5 stars because the owner, Dan, is really great and he initially resolved a big issue for me to my satisfaction but I continue to find problems in the job that was done for my basement remodel. I realize that I am a very annoying customer at this point because I keep reaching out about problems with the basement job but it was a very expensive, large project and it feels to me like they did it half heartedly. We bought a home last March and I hired basement gurus for mold removal, a full remodel, and they ended up putting in a drainage system. First, they asked me to pay them before the job was complete and that was okay except after that, it took about 5 weeks to finish when I was told it would be a one week job and I was pregnant and due to have a baby. Josh came to our home and explained how it works , and its working exactly like he said. Our basement has always had water in it , like 1 to 2 inches of water., and now it is dry . The work started on a Monday and finished on a Wednesday just like Josh had said . They were clean and very efficient

Basement Gurus recently installed a French drain system in our basement as well as repaired parts of foundation where the water was coming in. The crew was very efficient and professional. Every step of the process was communicated with us and our input/concerns were taken into consideration. We are very pleased with the quality of work and the amount of communication they provided and will be using them for any future work that is needed.

I needed a drainage system for my basement and received two quotes from two other companies before I spoke with Josh from Basement Gurus. I'm happy I went with Basement Gurus, Josh presented a solution that aligned more with what I wanted vs the other companies which offered cheap shortcuts. The entire process with them was a great experience. From Josh's non gimmicky and straight forward salesmanship, Dylan & the work crew's politeness/workmanship, to Butch the plumber's friendliness/work ethic relocating all the plumbing so the crew could work unobstructed.
