Bates Heating & Air has kept my 2008 Carrier Infinity System running right without breaking my bank, which is no small feat, and many services I'd called in the past wouldn't even try because of this system's complexity and reputation for being persnickety. The Owner David is always a phone call or text away and is vested in customer satisfaction. A recent service call by Adam, shows that Bates hires the best techs and people too. My furnace went out just two days before the cold snap. Called Bates and they were out the same day to evaluate the situation. They came out and installed my new system the very next day. Temps were being to fall as they left the property. My home was warm and safe before the ice hit the ground. I'm a Yates but Bates was the right call to make. These guys are great. My technician was Adam. He was excellent. Went way beyond and above in analysing and then fixing a broken heating system (the technical details are beyond me). He checked the sytem thoroughly after installing the malfunctioing part to make sure everything was in working order. They respond quickly too. Our HVAC system failed on us during the summer and I had heard good things about Bates so we decided to give them a call. First they tried to service the system which got us back up and running for a few days but then we lost our cooling again. They came back out and discovered a leak. We decided to replace the system and they presented multiple options like a good, better, best scenario. They were up front and honest in all of their interactions. They genuinely care for their customers and really made sure we were taken care of. We had another company come out that told us there was nothing they could do. Both my AC units went down at the same time. Thank goodness it wasn’t 100 degrees weather. Adam come out same day I called. He was very thorough with his service diagnostics. He checked everything out and found what was wrong. He checked to see if parts were still under warranty. Luckily it was! He even showed me what part and where it was leaking. And explained to me what was needed for the repair. He order the parts and 2 days later both systems were fixed and up and running. I highly recommend this company. Thank you.
