My old water heater developed some issues, I ran through a few hoops for the warrantee services -- not bad service, but they don't have proper parts for a proper fix/repair. After a week, I have to make a decision to replace it. I contacted Wilver (the boss person of Bay Area Plumbing) on Thursday morning, and he came quickly and assessed the situation, before Friday noon, the water heater is replaced. Wilver Castillo was referred to me by an installer of my whole-house water softner system. When he went under the crawl space, he noticed I had a broken 2-inch ABS kitchen line. Water was leaking and asked me to get it fixed. He handed me the card of Bay Area Plumbing, Rooter & Service. Not knowing too many plumbers, I called Wilver and left him a message. He called me back promptly and set up a time to come over next day to my house to provide me with a free estimate. He arrived on-the-dot at the time promised, inspected the damage and gave me a quote, which I felt, was competitive and reasonable. Switched out super old water heater in less than 2 hours. Very fast and very helpful. Responded quickly to my request for a new water heater and took care of the job fast and the new water is fantastic!
