A few weeks ago I was in need of plumber to connect a new water heater. Naturally, I called around for the best rate and Beaver Plumbing & Heating came in at the best rate at $110/hour. When they arrived to connect the water heater, the plumber said that he had an apprentice with him and aaked if I minded. I said, no, as I believe in teaching younger generations the trades. When they finished an hour and a half later, they told me I would get the bill in the mail. A week later, the bill arrived, and to my surprise, I was charged an additional $75/hour for the apprentice. Mind you, I had the previous water heater removed with all reusable connections off the old heater and the new exact same water heater in place. They only needed to make five connections. Quality and reasonable work done in a timely matter when I was at work and needed it done. They new what to do without a hitch even with me at work. Work done was the two main water valves being replaced in a duplex with one of the valves exploding during a remodel. Very happy with entire experience. They new what to do given circumstances and very pleased.
