My gate at my business was damaged. Called two places for estimate to adjust my gate and get it back rolling correctly. I was told someone would call me when they became available. I drive past my shop a few hours later and Doug the owner was there working. No crew just him. I’ve used these guys in the past and had no problems. I talked to Doug and he said a crew would be out when they got off of another job and it was getting close to lunch. They came they were there about an hour and half two tops. So the owners time and the crews time is less than three hours total. Anyway I get a non itemized large inflated bill for almost 1700.00, then they threaten to lien the if I don’t pay this insane amount. I argue and they reduce it to 1185.50, charge overtime in the middle of the day and claim
