Ben’s Repurposed Cabinetry

Ben's was great; a huge help with our limited budget. The style was exactly what we were looking for & it's beautiful (real wood, not particle board). They stayed along with us the entire cabinet process, helping with anything that came up along the way. Highly recommend! Also extremely pleased with a designer they recommended, Sandra Spence, who helped me tremendously when I was 'stuck' in design mode. Thumbs up!

This is probably the closest I will ever get in my life to finding a hidden treasure. Our experience with Ben's has been absolutely incredible. Jeff patiently assisted me as I came to him with probably too many questions. We found an entire kitchen package that surpasses anything I could have imagined on my own. They are beautiful and it has helped us begin our kitchen remodel exponentially under budget. We worked a deal for them to come and get our old cabinets too. The crew showed up precisely on-time. They were dressed professionally and were efficient and kind. They were respectful of our home and wrapped each of our cabinets with such care that it looked like we just got new cabinets from the factory. These guys were great!! We're renovating our kitchen, and didn't want our cabinets to go into a landfill. I was just going to put them on the curb, or take them restore, but our kitchen designer referred us to Ben, and I'm SO GLAD!! They were super easy to communicate with via email, and very responsive. We sent pictures of our kitchen and they told us they wanted the cabinets, counter tops, sink, and fixtures - which was AWESOME. We disconnected the water, vent, etc. and moved all the appliances ourselves, which the guys said was super helpful and saved them a lot of time. They were in and out in about an hour! I would highly recommend them!!

I could not believe my new kitchen when I saw it. The pictures looked good, but in real life–amazing! The quality was over the top. The few little dings could be easily filled and touched up. Ben's threw in the granite! We have some work to do fitting it into my smaller kitchen, but when we get it done, I'll send some pictures. That will be soon, because I want my new kitchen. I wish I'd discovered Ben's a few kitchens ago. Delivery was fine, a bit later than expected, but the driver came all the way from Colorado to Santa Barbara by himself, through rain, snow, sleet... You do need lots of guys to help unload. Our regular handyman took one look and called two friends. I'm gonna go to our garage and look at it again right now! Whoopee!

Reviews matter. Came across Ben's business in an internet search for a company who dealt in resale of full kitchens. Being in a different town I took the excellent reviews as a positive sign and decided to do business. We were really pleased with how everything went with the kitchen deconstruction and how it was left especially the homeowner . Would definitely recommend . Everything from communication , negotiation, on time arrival with a clean crew in Ben's shirts and timely completion of the job. The kitchen was left broom clean and no damage to the walls .
