Bessingers Backflow Service

My business had a backflow pipe crack and we called Bessingers Backflow Service. Mike came to our office and he really came through for us. As a business owner, it was really great to know that we would not have to close the office. The entire experience from speaking with Amanda on the phone to dealing with Mike in person was top notch!! Thank you!!!

I would warn anyone before using this company. They clearly don’t know what they are doing.. They came out to do an annual check. When I came home I found a note saying that my valve had failed.The technician left a piece of equipment attached to my valve, which raised a red flag. I called 3 times to get the reason why my valve failed. They sent me a quote which said that I needed a total rebuild at $312. Something didn’t feel right so i called another company to come and recheck my valve. it passed, it just needed to be adjusted.

The most unprofessional staff and company I’ve dealt with in a long time. Multiple years now where I’ve had appointments scheduled and receive a no show. No call or explanation for missed appointment again and when speaking with Amanda Hoyt, I was rudely spoken to and told if unhappy to use another service. Her excuse for the “no show” was due to unforeseen circumstances at other jobs which is completely understandable yet I asked why they didn’t inform me and I was again spoken to extremely rude and unprofessional with her excuse being she’s new and doing this all by herself. I asked to speak to management and owner of the company due to this being a continued situation and I was yelled at of the phone and told again to seek another company to have my back flow valve tested. I would not recommend these people. I scheduled them to come out and remove a backflow valve in Dorchester County. Had it set for the following week. I called early the next week and was assured that they would be there on Thursday. Thursday and Friday go by and I see they had not come. I call them on Monday to find out what happened and was told by the owner that I wasn't even on the schedule even though I had been assured by office staff that they would be there. I now get a knock on my door from Dorchester W&S and come to find out that the wrong backflow valve was removed and I am now being charged a late fee. Called them last year for backflow test and certification. Told me it needed to be repaired. Paid to do so. A year later, called them again for annual test. They told me the same thing was wrong and this time needed to be replaced. Called another company for a second opinion. The backflow passed with nothing wrong with it. Steer clear of this unscrupulous company.
