What an incredible experience with Big Sam Movers! I had recently closed on a new home in south jersey. Being a first time home buyer, my budget was being depleted due to more important things with my escrow/realtor fees. The last thing I needed was to be cheated on moving expense. They worked within my budget, my likes/dislikes and if I needed extra protective gears for my big items. My move started in Hoboken to Ocean County. Roughly, about 75 miles one way. The first time I spoke to Diane who had given me the quote, she was a sweetheart and pleasant to speak with. I gave her the dates, address/township and the best time to start the move. Great experience as a first time customer! When we were getting quotes for our move, others were quoting prices more than two times as what Sam did. We were initially quite sceptical as to how the quote could be so low when the others were quoting 3x, 4x of this. On the day of the actual move, the movers were on-time, diligent, respectful and completed all the tasks on time. I couldn't recommend them more. Don't be tricked by the low reviews, they're reliable and worth your money.

Honestly if I can give them 0 stars I would. I was moving from the same town to the same town the day of the move I was supposed to be charged $380 when the movers came the guy gave us the excuse that he was tired and it will take more than three hours to move a small two bedroom apartment he Tried to charge me $600 cash In person once we refused to pay the $600 he dropped all of my boxes on the floor in the alleyway was cursing and yelling outside and drove off .I call Diane she was supposed to send me three new movers to help move my apartment. No new movers came and every time we called the office she sent me straight to voicemail. Thank the Lord I reserved a U-Haul two weeks before just in case and still ended up moving with families help. Please do not waste your time with this moving

I had spoken to Jason on the phone who gave me a price quote. He sounded very knowledgeable and professional. I was a little reluctant, but decided to take a chance because I had to leave at the end of the month. I thought there was bound to be some issue with it being so last minute but everything ran smoothly!!! Surprisingly, the price he quoted to me on the phone remained the same. The truck showed up on time and my furniture and things were delivered in the same condition I left it. At the end of the day I am very satisfied with this service and I would highly recommend them.

Horrible movers right from the get go were trying to trick. The booking Diane booked 3 movers for $110 per hour but only 2 guys showed up. They kept complaining the whole time. They changed the pricing on the fly and charged me one hour extra and threatened to take my stuff away. Stay away from this company.
