I met Pete Bitts 15 years ago, He did a dig for me on one of my projects and it went well. I thought Pete was an honest man. So for 14 more years I fed Pete Bitts work. From home digs, to home removals, to septic systems. This past winter I hired Pete to do the following: dig two 100' lines, one from the well, the other from the gas back up. The next thing was the Septic System. A 1500 gallon tank and a 1000 gallon pump tank , and finally the waterproofing of the the front wall. Well Petes Proposed price for the three items listed above was $50,000. He asked for 50% up front. I never do more than 30% up front. But having a 15 year relationship, I gave him $25,000. It’s nice to know that there are honest people out there who are not taking advantage of a situation. Pete did a great job on my septic system, and was beyond fair in pricing, based on other huge, exorbitant quotes I received. He also did the work in a very timely fashion. I highly recommend him!
