A boat I recently purchased had the wrong Seastar helm pump for the piston configuration. I purchased a remanufactured helm of the same model from Boat Steer. It had the same issue (obviously). The sales team discussed with me and figured out the helm was incorrect and my hydraulic lines were very outdated. I shipped that helm back, was refunded and they shipped the correct helm plus hydraulic hoses to replace my old nylon lines. Shipping and billing were all done promptly and got here fast. Extremely professional and courteous staff.

If you need steering help with your boat, do yourself a favor and reach out to these folks. I am replacing my old, dual helm steering system, and they have made it as painless and inexpensive as it could possibly be. Their prices are amazing, they do custom hoses and remanufacturing of parts, they ship quickly - AND, they were endlessly patient and helpful with my bazillion questions.
