Boonsboro Heating & Air

Not a great experience as Boonsboro was assigned from our home warranty company. Had to make several trips and then couldn't even supply a proper functioning thermostat. The tech who came out was a bit rude and even made some sexist and racist remarks while my family was within earshot. The thermostat literally sparked and almost caught fire (thank goodness I was walking by it and grabbed it off the wall). I hired Wooldridge out of pocket and they were fantastic and found two wires that were mixed up for our heat pump which Boonsboro should have caught if he'd looked at the control board and thermostat for more than a minute. If they ever get assigned from the home warranty again I'll fight to have someone else service us.

Most deceitful and dishonest service company we have ever dealt with. Our home warranty company recommended Boonsboro Heating & Air. We had never heard of them before. The warranty company approved our heat pump and air handler for replacement, less the $150 deductible. Boonsboro Heating & Air sent us a supplement of ADDITIONAL charges of nearly $5,000 that they required to be paid directly to them BEFORE they would do the work. When we questioned them for an explanation of the supplement they responded that would cost an additional $150 as explanations take time. Most every item on the supplement was bogus or not necessary. ie: They were charging $350 for a new pad and leveling. We have a concrete pad that is perfectly level. I live in an old house with an old ac system. It has never been able to keep up fully but has historically been able to keep the house around 72-73 when it’s super hot outside. On 7/4 I noticed a burning smell and a metallic clang and my house was 77 degrees. I called my homewarranty company and they sent this guy out. John came out on 7/8. He told me to expect lunch time but showed up at 10:30. He opened the ac, cleaned it out with my hose, and checked the Freon levels. He said the clean out should fix the problem but to call again if it didn’t. The first time he was here, he was nice and professional. That night it was still 78 degrees inside the house but it was only in the low 90s that day. So I called back and told them that the issue was not resolved. They came back on 7/10. Again th

When I had an emergency call for my heat not working I called Boonsboro heating & air! They came out fast and fixed all of my issues fast! I was so impressed with the professionalism as well! Thank you for taking care of our heating with reasonable pricing!

I didn't get home until after 6:00 PM to discover my heat was not working. My next door neighbor recommended them. They were super quick to respond and got my heat going again in less than an hour. I was really glad I called them and I will definitely use them again.
