My parents decided to go with this company because they were local. The initial discussion went fine, planned everything out. The only stipulation was that it be finished by our family's Christmas. They had MONTHS to get one small island done. Months went by and my parents never heard anything. They tried to call the sales guy, the office, no reply and no call back. Finally, I called and he answered (he had my parents numbers, so we were all getting the feeling that RUSS MCCUBBINS was screening his calls). I told him they needed an update, he gave excuses. We had a contract with this company to install our cabinets. The salesman repeatedly asked me for our check and then took a month to deposit the check and then they took four months to install our cabinets. For months they told us they were going to install them and then never showed up. The contract we had with them was between my husband and I and them. We paid them with a personal check from our savings for cabinets in the new home we were building. Because of a dispute between the owner of Briarwood Custom Cabinets and our builder, the owner of Briarwood admitted to holding our cabinets hostage until our builder paid him for previous homes they had done. Terrible service. Terrible communication. Treated everyone involved like they were ignorant. Paid for services in full. Cashed the check and went on vacation with our money. Office is never open, never returned calls. Save yourself the headache and find anyone else.
