Customer Reviews
I'm pretty handy and do most of my own home repairs, but the roof is one thing I know better than to mess with. Called Bright Star Roofing and I'm glad I left it to the pros. It's been three months and two heavy rainstorms since they finished. Not a single leak, no water stains, nothing. The roof is doing exactly what it should. The difference between a good roofing company and a great one is in the details. Bright Star Roofing is definitely in the great category based on my experience. I appreciated that the crew pointed out a few things on my roof that weren't urgent but would need attention down the road. No pressure to do it now, just giving me the heads up. This was the first major expense on our house that I didn't regret afterward. Actually felt good about where my money went.
My parents used Bright Star Roofing when they needed their roof done a few years back. When it was our turn, calling anyone else didn't even cross my mind. Good service runs in their DNA apparently. I was bracing for a huge bill but it actually came in under what I expected. And the quality of work was excellent. That's rare these days. After they found that rotted decking, they called me immediately to explain the situation, show me pictures, and give me a quote for the additional work. Complete transparency. After this experience, Bright Star Roofing is my gold standard for what a contractor should be. Other trades I've hired for could learn something from how they operate. They used what they called architectural shingles which have a thicker, more dimensional look than my old three-tab
My parents used Bright Star Roofing when they needed their roof done a few years back. When it was our turn, calling anyone else didn't even cross my mind. Good service runs in their DNA apparently. I got four quotes total and Bright Star Roofing wasn't the cheapest, but they were definitely the most thorough in explaining what the job would involve and what materials they'd use. I was out running errands when they finished but they sent photos showing the completed work and the cleaned up property. Nice touch. The roof inspection was more involved than I expected. They had to work around my solar panels which added complexity, but they handled it without any issues. Having worked with Bright Star Roofing, I now understand the difference between a contractor who just does roofs and one who
At 72 years old, I've had plenty of work done on this house over the decades. I've dealt with good contractors and bad ones. Bright Star Roofing reminded me that there are still companies out there that do honest work at fair prices. They followed up about a week after the job was done to make sure everything was still looking good. That kind of follow-through is rare and appreciated. The install took about a day and a half. They started early in the morning both days and worked steady until evening. By the end, my roof looked completely transformed. The thing about roofing is you really get what you pay for. Sure, I could have gone cheaper, but I would have been dealing with problems again in five years. This roof will last. They said the job would take two days and it took exactly two da
With a baby on the way, my wife and I wanted to get all our home repairs done before life got even busier. The roof was at the top of our list. Bright Star Roofing worked around our schedule perfectly. I have dogs and was worried about them being stressed with strangers around. the crew was actually great with them - let them sniff through the fence and everything. I was out running errands when they finished but they sent photos showing the completed work and the cleaned up property. Nice touch. I calculated the cost per square foot and compared it to what others in my neighborhood paid. Bright Star Roofing was right in line, maybe even a bit less for equivalent quality. If you read this far, you're probably in the research phase like I was. Trust me, you can stop looking.
