We had a beautiful black metal roof installed. The project took several weeks. Construction debris was cleaned up by us. One of Brooks workers urinated on the side of our house. That was a little confusing as we allowed them to use our downstairs bathroom. A couple months later, hurricane Matthew came along. Water poured in through the second floor all the way downstairs. Our insurance company covered nothing. Hurricane Florence came and even more damage was done. There is still incomplete work that they never finished. The roof is beautiful to look at but we have a ticking time bomb on top of our home. He’s a lot less expensive than most metal roofers, but you get what you pay for.

HE CREATED A PROBLEM AND DISAPPEARED. Brooks put a beautiful metal roof on our home, was professional and conscientious. BUT. We started having a severe leak by the kitchen skylight every time there was a heavy rain--plaster fell in hunks from the ceiling, we filled spaghetti pots with leaking water multiple times. We also have a leak by the skylight in the master bathroom--chunks of player fall, there's a big hole next to the skylight. When I called Brooks, he said he'd come by two days later, on Saturday. He didn't show up, he didn't call. I left messages. About two weeks later, he called me back; his grandmother had died and he had crew out sick. He was polite and apologetic, and finally came by to look at the gaping hole in the kitchen ceiling. A neighbor let him in, as I wasn't

Brooks Vinyl windows and construction put a metal roof on my home and it is now leaking in two spots. Update::: just called a different number found online for the business owner Brooks Blackwell. Called and spoke to him as of 6/13/18. Says he'll be at my house by 9:30.... REVIEW PENDING Been years, but they did show up, put some sealant around the edges of all connections.

Hired for replacing our siding, windows and deck rebuild. He took our money and never finished the work.
