Rick Metz is crook! Stay far away from him if possible! We hired him to replace our roof last year. Not only did he not pull the permit before starting work, as he had told us he did, he also was using materials that were not up to code, and he was not paying sub-contracted roofers who then came begging for more money from us (even though Rick was paid up front for the job.) We ended up having to hire another team of roofers to finish the job, and it took over seven months for the roof to get completed. In the meantime we acquired additional damages to our furniture, music scores, insulation in the attic during the rainy season; we had to pay for thousands of dollars of additional materials out of pocket, for which Mr. Metz has still not reimbursed us (despite promising us in writing befor
