Nice to go to a store where the people are knowledgeable. Courteous and professional employees with the wealth of know how that were able to answer all of my plumbing questions that I had plus the parts that I needed to fix my leaking shower head. I highly recommend shopping at this establishment

Had a strange experience with the service desk when I brought my car key in to change the battery. I told the gentlemen that I couldn’t open the key because I didn’t have a screwdriver to fit it. He said it isn’t anything special just a Phillips head. I said well it’s very small and I’m not sure if I rounded it, do you have a screwdriver I can get to try to open it and he told me no. If it’s rounded he can’t help me. I again said well let me get a screwdriver and see if I can open it and he said he didn’t have any. I said you don’t have small? He said not for that. So I restated that I just need a small screwdriver and he said he couldn’t help me. I said if it wasn’t rounded could you help me? He said no. Eyeglass repair kits abound at ACE for under $3. Without you Greg, Ace closes down. I've been there hundreds of times and literally only once did they not have what I needed. They've never recommend something that was totally wrong for a project. It's always been right on the $. You can't get service like that anymore. You don't feel overwhelmed when you're looking for something specific. They don't pester you. If you can't decide what you want and just want to look around, they leave you to it. But if you need help someone will be close by to give you that wonderful old school service. I don't know about everyone else but I will definitely pay the extra dollar for an item instead of going to Home Depot.Besides you would spend that extra buck in gas driving all the way there. I purchased paint at another Ace Hardware and needed it to be shook and took it to this Ace and they refused. It had never been opened other than to be mixed. I went to Home Depot…they shook it for me no problem. I prefer not to go to big box stores, but this Ace has been less than helpful on several occasions when I have asked for assistance. I did find an Ace to give my business to that has great customer service.
