By the Yard

I have used By the yard twice now for back yard and patio projects and will continue to use them in the future. Fair pricing and excellent communication which seems to be hard to get these days. We spend a lot of time in our yard and now can really enjoy it.

2022: Purchased large river rock and brown mulch. I had the river rock delivered as to not damage my truck. It was all quick and simple (picture 1). Update 2023: This year I purchased 3 scoops of large rock to line my sidewalk and two scoops of black mulch (picture 2, 3 & 4). I chose delivery. Very happy. FYI: I purchased the bricks that line the flower bed in the background of picture 2 at Home Depot. Update 2024: This year I create a path and dry river bed (picture 5). By the Yard delivered the pebbles and large river rock. I purchased the stone edging at YardTime in Peachtree and the gravel grid online at Core Landscape products. When I am ready, I will get my plants and sod from Art of Landscaping.

By the yard was very reasonable. The scheduling was in a timely manner.Drew in the office was very knowledgeable and helpful. James and danavan were very professional and Pleasant. The both of them worked very well together, they have a teamwork ethic and it was a pleasure working with them.

Advertising as by the 'Yard' but sells by the scoop, which is not equivalent; a little less than 2/3rds of a yard for the price of a yard. Made good by sending another 'scoop'- Good product, but not standard measurements. Will look elsewhere in the future.

The guy here cheated me and he must’ve thought I didn’t catch it. These days, name your price and “I” decide if “I” will do business with you or not. I decided to just pay what he asked due to my timeline EVEN THOUGH he was lying and cheating me. I bought 65 yards of dirt, almost $2000. He said he offered military discount and free delivery. Get this….he said the military discount was 10% which was $98.22….do the math. Gave him my credentials and address, then he said he’s going to have to take the military discount off because his truck only got 4 miles to the gallon and he needed a delivery fee. When at the desk, theee times he said this amount of dirt would be 9 truck loads…..I got six….how the hell can I validate how much is in each truck…I had to take their word. Anyway, keep stealin
