Ordered a Matthews Brothers sliding door. It was delivered face down on a flat bed truck resulting in the door frame being scratched and gouged along the perimeter of the frame. Asked for a new door to be ordered and was told it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks time, just like the original order was. Six weeks went by and I called to ask about the order. I was told that MB manufacturing plant was waiting for parts and it would be another 3-4 weeks. I promptly cancelled my ordered. I had a hunch that they forgot to place the reorder. I later found out the MB had no existing delays in manufacturing and was able to get a door from a competitor. Lack of communication and lies…not a great way to conduct business.

Not always as friendly as people say. I definitely think that because I am a woman they don't give me the same consideration as they would the men that go in. I have always felt uncomfortable calling or going in. The wood I have purchased there has been what I expected, though sometimes priced higher than other lumber yards in the area. Their delivery drivers are very pleasant.

safer to put in customizable orders at the larger corporations (more accountability), there is no quality check at these smaller places, customer service not the greatest over the phone when your order's delayed.

It's not often anymore that you go anywhere and have a fantastic experience start to finish. The guys at CP couldn't have possibly been nicer! Amazing service, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. They made us feel like our business was appreciated. You've gained a long term customer for sure! Thank you!
