Cabinets To Go

Do not waste your money. Even though the staff at the store (especially Jennifer) are great to work with and very helpful; the installation team is horrible. Who doesn’t use a stud finder when installing cabinets but just drills holes into the wall randomly? Who uses a claw hammer to bust into the brand new drywall to pull the electrical wire to another spot in the cabinet? Customer service is no better with people not returning phone calls or helping to resolve the installation problems in a timely manner. We have been waiting for over 3 weeks for a resolution. This military family would not recommend them to friends or family.

Working with Nicole at the Norfolk store was a great experience. We were able to find cabinets and flooring that we are very pleased with. They are beautiful and priced well. Installation was good too, however lost a star for the time it took to complete start to finish. There were a couple mistakes made but the installer fixed them, even replacing an entire face, without question or fuss.

Nicole is a great designer and saleswoman. I’ve done many kitchens with her and have awesome turnouts with my customers being extremely happy. I’ve used a few other local kitchen companies before and since using cabinets to go and Nicole’s expertise I haven’t looked back. A+++

I'm normally not one to make reviews, but feel that this company and it's products are certainly deserving of my time to give them credit based off of the other reviews that are present for this store. Most of the time when people respond to surveys and post reviews it's usually because their angry and their reviews are not truly objective; not often do the happy folks take the time to share their feelings. In those responses most of the customers expectations are unreasonable and their issues can sometimes be because of their own shortcomings and lack of understanding and knowledge. I will start with saying the people that work here are very nice and understanding that is why they got 2 stars versus 1 but their products are very low quality and quit expensive. We ordered all of our cabinets around April of 2020, we got our first delivery of 8 cabinets in July, the second delivery of 3 cabinets was in October, the third was in December with 3 cabinets and the last delivery arrived in January. The reason they stated for the delay was due to COVID which I guess I understand. The final delivery of cabinets were damaged when we received them and we decided that it would be easier to just glue them together as best we can rather than waiting another year for more cabinets.
