I’ll never use CalPortland again, especially since Heidelberg Materials is in town. Here’s why: I tried to give my business to CalPortland because I know a driver that works for them. I called in on a Thursday and placed a ready mix delivery for 3.5 yards of concrete for a next day delivery on Friday. Gave them my credit card and billing info while on the phone. They confirmed the delivery. Come to find out, they never ran the credit card until the next day (the Friday that I was scheduled for a 12:30 delivery). Seems they ran the card around 10:30AM or so on Friday, because I did receive one voicemail at 10:30AM stating that my card had declined. Well, I missed the call. That’s on me. But honestly, they really should have told me that they were not going to run the card until the

I would have loved to give them a higher rating, but we were unable to actually use their service. We needed to schedule a delivery so that the guys who were coming to actually do the concrete would be there, they said they could only schedule a day in advance and if they had a cancelation they could come. Therefore had to go a different route.

For some reason it took us forever to find this place and we weren't the only one lol. But it was worth it
