Cameo Fence, LLC

We tried Cameo fence over hi tensile fence and it did save my horse from being severely injured! As you can see from picture if this would have been hi tensile my horse would have been cut a lot deeper! We are very happy with Cameo! It was easy to install also!!

Added a second & third pasture with cameo after our first pasture proved to be successful all year - I’ve used a combination of wood and T posts. I love the look of it and its effectiveness. I’ve had one horse get caught in it and rear up with the cameo around his pastern and the fence snapped, he ran away free and I watched it all happen. Easy to repair with the kit! I have one half draft that would push and lean into it to get grass on the other side, we added a hot wire in the top and he stopped. *We installed 4-5 strands on sections versus cameo’s reco of 6 and because of that my half draft also puts his head through sometimes! But no other horse does. I can see why a hot wire below would be beneficial.

Being new to owning horses and never putting up a fence before like this, it was so simple so easy and very durable. I am highly impressed and highly recommended to anybody. There’s no other fence I would ever do for horses, but the cameo fence.

Cameo responded below, so I'm adding to my review accordingly--I can furnish more detail about the lack of safety of the fence for any concerned readers. The very limited strands of steel that go through Cameo pulse produce an incredibly weak electric shock, even with three deep grounding rods and daily watering of the grounds. I have over twenty years' experience with electric fencing and livestock, so it's far from my first rodeo setting up an electric system. The pulse may well not deter your horses, or, if you have smart/ curious horses, they'll quickly figure out which strands are electric, which mine did. Our farm looks great with the new cameo fence, we had a stallion go through the fences during a storm and none were broken just had to reattach to posts and no horses were injured. We love having the cameo fencing, wish we had installed years ago.
