I contacted Keith for a consultation about a Burr Oak on my property that had co-dominant limbs with a crack in the junction of the 2 limbs. He first recommended waiting and felt it wasn't in imminent danger of splitting. A year later I asked him to return when I noticed the crack had progressed significantly. Keith recommended putting a heavy duty strap below the junction of the 2 limbs and tying a cable between the two limbs further up the tree. I was glad to hear that he believes this tree will live many more years. He plans to return periodically to adjust the strap as the tree grows. Keith also cleaned up my ornamental pear tree that had lost several limbs during a heavy snow last fall. He also consulted me about the care of my apple trees. I found Keith to be very knowledgeable

The first thing you'll notice about Keith is that he LOVES trees. He loves talking about them, climbing them, and taking care of them. Before he spent a day in our yard, he happily talked to me on the phone at length about what trees we could and shouldn't get to replace a dying ash. He spent hours climbing and trimming a large maple that wasn't doing well in the hope that it might recover. Everyone else told us to just cut it down. If it does come to that in a few years, Keith will be my first call. He also took down two dying ones, felling one precisely between two other trees with very little room to spare, and pruned an old apple tree that is looking much happier now. He took time he didn't need to to chat with our kids about tree climbing, showed me how to sharpen a saw chain, pruned

We had a very old and large white pine tree that was dying in our front yard, near our house. Keith was extremely professional from the start to the finish of the job; working efficiently and safely. Keith provided awesome resources in several ways. First, as a Certified Arborist, he evaluated what trees might be too close to our house in a severe storm, and also which ones had stable root systems and were healthy and could be left alone. Then, for an incredibly reasonable price he felled those that needed to be down. Keith also helped me by cutting the downed trees into shorter sections that I could then split for firewood. Keith is very knowledable, professional and amenable and easy to work with.
