I am a NYS Licensed Engineer retired from a 35 year career with the NYS Department of Transportation. For 20 of those years, I was responsible for the operation, maintenance and repairs of the state highway system in Cayuga and Seneca Counties. In those 20 years, I supervised several hundred miles of asphalt paving projects on the state system. I planned a project to rehabilitate my residential asphalt driveway in Tompkins County.
