Capital Parking

Book ahead of time using the SpotHero app! If you're staying at the Holiday Inn across the street, please book your parking here! Especially if you're staying several days it is a lot cheaper! However, this is a parking space. If you plan to drive, you will not be able to park for one set price. You will have to pay daily. Also, it is confusing. I never got a parking ticket since I booked and paid on the app ahead of time. So that made me nervous when I parked here. However, the attendant let me know I didn't need one (which honestly, I still didn't believe, but he was right!) Just have the app open and it'll somehow read that you're coming in/leaving. There is no need for a ticket! Just make sure to fill in all the required info on the app when you're booking. Also, the entrance for the p

ZERO! I was never even able to get a parking pass... when I contacted them to find out when I could pick it up, Aoyesola said come and pick it up at 11 am. I explained that I couldn't just leave work to pick it up, he said pick it up at 11 the next day. FYI, the courthouse road lot is NOT manned. So after explaining I cannot meet at 11, he tells me to go to the Fairfax Road lot and that there is someone there from 630am to 630 pm. I got there and guess what....no one was there. At that point, i decided to cancel the pass because I was paying for parking everyday anyway. Also, i should not have to run around and ask multiple times for something I paid for. I requested a refund of 270, which I was told I would receive in 5 business days....guess what 7 days and counting no refund. Iv

Easy to get to, very convenient. Be prepared to have your car searched, it is a Federal building. But it is a great location to walk from or grab the Metro from, there is a nice food court, children's museum, and the Reagan Building itself is cool to explore.

DO NOT PARK HERE! They are lock the doors to the building and shutdown the elevator at random times. They do not stay open until the time posted on Google. They put up a sign to enter garage through 7th street if building is closed......there is no entrance on 7th street. I walk up to the door trying to ask a security guard for additional information and just waved her hand at me and kept talking on her cell. The entrance is on 6th street. If you are handicapped or have difficulty walking, don't park here. If you park on the lower levels and the doors are locked, you have to walk all the way down because they lock down the elevators. Yeah it's close to the national mall but it's a terrible place. Wish I could rate 0 out of 5 stars.

I parked at this garage after reading on their website that overnight parking is $27. They also have signs inside the garage that say the same. When I checked out of the Holiday Inn and went to get my car they charged me $48 for multiple days. I only parked from 5pm until 9am the next morning. Apparently their rollover time is midnight!!! Don't park here, it's a complete ripoff! False advertising, shady sign placement, and the manager that called me over a week later after I called customer service to dispute the charge was completely rude. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn just park there and ignore these other reviews of how great this place is... It's not!
