A very dishonest company. Charged me $960 for a part that cost $122? After speaking to Jason, the service manager, as a “favor” they gave me a discount. Last week I found out that they signed me in a service agreement automatically every year, without any authorization. $546. I spoke to Jason again and he created situations, saying in case you need us, you are protected it, that is my fault I didn’t use it. You think after the abuse on prices for parts I want any of your technicians in my house? I will report them to the BBB.

Chris S (tech 709) was excellent! Extremely professional and friendly. He got the job done on time, and was thorough. He even showed me how to measure the oil on the tank—something I’ve never known was so simple to do. Thanks for fixing our hot water & being so polite while doing so. I was referred to CS from my neighbor who been using CS for over 40 years. I can honestly say from the first phone call to make the appointment to the two techs that arrived at my home (Jim and Jeter) were absolutely polite, professional, clean work and did a fantastic job on our boiler. They did a complete boiler tune up and explained everything to me. Replaced a faulty circulator pump. Best part, they took their time to go over the whole system and make sure everything was done right. Now that is service. Will definitely recommend Carpenter & Smith.

I loss track of time and forgot to call for fuel oil it was very low, I called my oil company and asked for a delivery and told them that I was out of fuel and they said the best thing they could do for me was a week until I could get a delivery, granted it was gonna be very extremely cold In one of the worst winters we had in a long time so I said to the lady I have no fuel oil. Is there anything you can do? She said put 5 gallons of diesel fuel in your tank. I said yeah for a week She said there’s nothing I could do for you and I said OK so I was speaking to one of my neighbors and they told me to call Carpenters Smith in Monroe and I did and the minute that I talked to someone on the phone she stated somebody would call me back.
