CGT Construction exceeded our expectations in absolutely every way possible. They turned a basement water closet into a gorgeous, modern bathroom with a glass and tile shower, large vanity and fabulous lighting. Everyone who came to our home was extremely professional, maintained cleanliness throughout the project, and performed each task with pride and exceptional craftsmanship. They went above and beyond when we asked for little touches here and there, and didn’t hesitate to accommodate our modest change requests. Most importantly, they treated us like family. We worked with CGT Construction to finish the basement on a new construction home in Malvern. We wanted to finish half of the basement as an activity room with a powder room, while keeping the other half for storage. We reached out to several contractors with different quotes, but JJ is the most transparent, communicative, and punctual contractor. He came to us with a reasonable price, was very open about various options and transparent during negotication, and always provided information on time when promised. We are extremely happy that we choose to work with them. They did a great job finishing the basement exactly like what we wanted. This is a late review, this work was done over Dec-Feb, 2025. CGT came into our planned Primary bathroom project renovation, which was a top to bottom redesign, including the closet. We had already designed and purchased all the materials, and our initial contractor did not work out. They immediately proposed a price which was competitive. The work was done on time, on budget, no overruns, and they absorbed some rework costs and handled the punch list without question. What I especially liked was the project management communications and the fact that they brought in specialists for each step; tile, electrical, plumbing, paint and all framing were done by different specialists who clearly knew their craft. My family worked with CGT Construction to renovate my parents’ two-story home in Edgewater Park. They did an amazing job stripping down to the studs in most rooms and building it back up to what my wife and I envisioned. Mike and JJ were incredible to work with throughout the process and easily accommodated changes as the project progressed. The crews that came through the house to do the work were very respectful of the property and the regulars were a pleasure to work with. Work included demo, plumbing & electric, insulation, drywall, flooring, kitchen cabinets and appliances, shower remodel, paint, and carpets.
