An engineering marvel to say the least. The views of the Atlantic and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge at spectacular. Watch the sun set in the evening over the Atlantic from this vista point is priceless. Time just freezes and you are in awe of the spectacle that’s in front of you. Must visit spot with family and kids. Lots to see and enjoy. Will become a memory for a lifetime
Lovely southbound drive across Chesapeake Bay, travelling from the Cape Charles area on Virginia’s Eastern Shore toward Virginia Beach. A beautiful ~30 km (19 miles) crossing with endless water views. Priceless!
Beautiful views! Informative signs about the ecosystem and history are great but could use some cleaning up.
Absolutely gorgeous views and a wonderful place to walk around (while taking in the sights) before heading to the bridge officially.
Nice scenic overlook if you've been driving for awhile and need a break it's a great spot to stop and see the Chesapeake Bay and the bridge
