Hired Ron Harlow in June 2024 to install a bunch of interior and exterior doors, build a front porch, install a sliding glass window, install 2 exhaust fans and fix a bathroom ceiling. It took 3 weeks to semi complete after he gave a 1 week finishing time frame. Did complete crap work and going to have to spend 2k-3k to fix his mistakes. He installed the steps on the porch very poor quality and now they're not flesh with concrete (see picture). The railing is not even screwed the whole way down since it didn't install the baluster correctly (see picture). Also a few other minor time-consuming fixes on the porch. Next, he installed a sliding glass door and half assed finished it. Didn't do the trim outside or inside and looks awful (see pictures). All he was wanting was more money to actual

Moved to Cape Charles in early 2025. Hired Ron Harlow to complete my kitchen. Complete disaster and poor craftsmanship. Have to hire someone else to go back and complete his mistakes. Go somewhere else UPDATE 1 ....you know exactly who I am and you say that about every bad review when you do bad work. Not legitimate excuse. Caused me 1000s of dollars to replace cabinets. Speaking the truth. People should stay faaaaaarrrrr away from your services!!! UPDATE 2 Can say whatever you want. Can only explain my experience. Make up whatever story you want to save face. It was me and my girlfriends newly bought house. 100 percent not going to put my address on a google review forum. Who in their right mind would do that. Yes you have some good reviews and some bad ones on here and also Yelp. La

Ron Harlow did an outstanding job on our home. He and his team installed additional pilings under our deck for extra support and replaced water-damaged flooring with great care and precision. Ron is dependable, meticulous, and truly committed to doing the job right—even if it requires extra effort on his part. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of his work. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend him.

My husband and I are new to the Cape Charles area and came across Ron to help us make some updates to our home. Not only does Ron do great work but he’s a real pleasure to work with. We appreciate that Ron is always straight forward with us. If there’s a job that he thinks we can do on our own, he gives us guidance on how to do it. Ron is a Jack of all trades and does most things, however, we recently needed HVAC work done and called Ron just to make sure we were getting good advice from the technician. He’s that trustworthy!

Living across the country from where our house is deems difficulty finding a contractor that is fair, true to their word and do quality work without you being there to supervise. We found all that in R.W. Harlow & Associates. We met Ron several years ago and finally were able to get him to do some work on our house after having some disappointing work from other contractors. Ron and his crew did wonderful work on painting our trim as well as many other little jobs that most contractors would turn their nose up at. His team works quickly and efficiently, getting all scopes of work completed in a timely and cost effective manner yet delivers the best of quality.
