I came to CBD in June barely able to swim and terrified to put my face in the water—but with a dream of becoming a certified diver. From the very beginning, the team met me with compassion and encouragement. After just four swim lessons with an incredible instructor, I signed up for the Open Water Diver course. Ray, my dive instructor, was patient, supportive, and deeply knowledgeable. He understood my fears and helped me build confidence step by step. The training is hands-on from day one—you’re in the pool taking swim tests, snorkeling, and eventually diving with full gear. Ray took the time to make sure we understood not just the skills, but the safety and care required to be thoughtful divers.
