I do not recommend. In January 2025, I contracted with Chism Services to replace my aging A/C unit. We agreed that he would install a modern system including a heat pump. What I got instead was the wrong size coil, an A/C unit that was merely placed outside, not even connected, obviously leaking fluid and therefore unusable. After repeated requests and silence from Chism he finally showed up to take away the wrong size coil with a promise to return with the correct size coil and a replacement A/C unit. He never returned. After another month of receiving nothing but promises and excuses, I realized that I had no choice but to contract with another company to cover my losses and get this project completed. Upon inspection, the new company informed me that I needed different thermostat

I contacted Chism Services LLC Heating and Cooling Derby weekend, May 2021, about needing a new HVAC system. At that time, Chism and the crew were accommodating and quick to answer our call. They successfully installed a new indoor and outdoor unit that weekend. Friday, Jan. 27th, 2022 Around 3:00 AM - assuming we had a power glitch, our house was cold, around 60 degrees. With temperatures outside below freezing. The power to the Nest thermostat was not registering. After some self troubleshooting, we had no luck successfully turning on the heating system. 9:50 AM - I called Chism Services, Jon RT Chism (the owner) answered on the first ring. I let him know that they installed our unit in May of last year (9 months ago). And our Nest was giving us an error. The RH wire couldn't connect,

Had a great experience with Chism for a new furnace install. Called Chism at 7pm one evening and they had technicians here the next morning to replace my furnace. Price was significantly better than the popular heating and cooling companies on a Google search. Quality of work was exceptional. Highly recommend Chism for any heating and cooling needs. Will be using Chism moving in the future.

Chism Services was the best of 5 different estimates/companies when it came to services/models offered. I dealt with Jon Chism and he was very knowledgeable about every product. He made sure we did not get something we didn’t need, and explained everything we got very well. Would recommend to anyone looking, and I already have.

Was referred to Chism by a highly respected local builder. Although I got quotes from two other companies, felt most comfortable with Chism. They did an excellent job-going above and beyond in everything they did-they even went up on my roof to ensure proper installation. Had to put into words my happiness with their work, but what is easy to articulate is that they will have all my business/referrals moving forward!
