Great little spot on the D&L trail to take a break. Nice views.
This a nice area, the only problem is the snakes that you can encounter in the area. Watch the videos 😳
The Christina Van Gelder Observation Deck is located halfway between Weissport and Jim Thorpe. It's only accessible by foot or bike on the D&L trail. It's well worth the short climb up the steps to see this view although the trees are starting to obstruct the view.
Easy and nice walk, but Cristina should pay more attention to the wasps that populate her little bridge :)
Great views. Only issuse is the deck and stairs could use some maintenance
