My floor started lifting in few places a bit over year after installation. Citadel came to inspect. Inspection lasted maybe 5 minutes, the moment so called specialist heard my dogs barking he made up this ridiculous story that it was urine damage and company denied my claim. I called professional to fix my floor and he discover that installation was done poorly, planks that were lifting didn’t have tongue and groove and while floor was extending planks lifted. Documented full removing process with pictures and videos and there was ZERO water or urine! Would also stay away from Richmond Homes builder, since they use that horrible company to install flooring in new homes, probably because it’s cheap to match quality of their work.

Citadel was the subcontractor hired by Richmond American Home Builders to install our flooring. Usually, I don't write negative reviews unless it's truly necessary so others do not go through what we've been through. The quality of their work is the worst. They do not know what they are doing. They have to come out to our home and remove the entire downstairs flooring and replace it. On top of that, as the homeowner, you will have to remove everything from your fridge, pantry, containers, and bathroom shelves on your own time. Many of our neighbors who also purchased a home from Richmond American have the exact same issues and frustration with their flooring. Do not hire them if you want your flooring done correctly the first time around.

I’m a brand new home owner. My carpets were poorly installed. They sent out an inspector and their own inspector said it was not stretched properly during installation if at all. When I called Cindy back, she refused to fix the issue. When I asked to speak to her General Manager, she told me “No”. I asked why and she said she is closing the account and there is nothing further. If you don’t want to do something don’t, but you have no right to be disrespectful. Etiquette courses will serve you well in life Cindy.

Citadel was the subcontractor that our home builder used to install the flooring in our home, and it is the absolute worst quality work I've ever seen. They incorrectly installed the floor, and now it is failing after 3 years, despite there being a 10-year manufacture warranty. They've outright lied to us, the builder, and the flooring manufacturer to deny warranty claims and have contradicted themselves in writing on multiple occasions. DO NOT do business with this company, you will regret it.

Poor customer service, my scheduled service was cancelled more than four times. Poor front line phone service, staff refuse to give information of the address of the company and hang up the phone on me .
