McCarthy’s team is A+. We’ve used them since they took over and they’re always prompt, do quality work, and share good ideas when we’re thinking about projects. What I liked most was Chris being upfront — when something wasn’t their strong suit, he said so and pointed us to someone else instead of pretending.

I've used C.J. McCarthy for many years and for several projects: building patio spaces (2) for my yard, blue stone front entryway, building a stone walkway from front yard to backyard, landscape maintenance. The work is always of very high quality, completed on-time and at the agreed price. Projects are well-built and durable with no problems after several years of use and of harsh weather conditions near the coast. And the regular yard maintenance (cutting, edging, mulching etc.) is always done neatly and with attention to detail. Finally, the working staff are always courteous and helpful and willing to "take the extra step" for customers. I sometimes ask the landscape crew, for example, for a bit of help in moving a large planter or outdoor furniture and they're always glad to help.

Chris and his team were fantastic to work with. We needed a lot of new hardscape at our old cape and they somehow found a way to make it all look as if it belonged and was always there, not new and out of place. Chris listened to us, would always pick up the phone when we called and got the project done in time and under budget. I couldn’t recommend them enough - honestly fantastic!

Chris helped me plow our driveway when another operator fell through. He didn't want any money when I offered. It was a great favor and I will definitely use their landscaping services when the snow melts. Thank you for the help, it means a lot 🙏
