Clawes Flooring

A year ago we had Clawes come to our house to replace the carpeting in our family room. Since that experience was so good we didn’t hesitate to have Bobby come back to our house to give us a quote on replacing all the flooring on our main level. After taking all the measurements Bobby then gave us recommendations on what type of hardwood floors we should consider. He left us a few samples and told us to come to the showroom in Clifton if had any questions or needed more samples. After a few trips to the showroom and getting additional information from Louis and Kevin, we selected a yellow birch hardwood made by Preverco. Clawes Flooring has completed 2 projects so far and both were an excellent experience. They replaced my basement carpet and replaced existing wood floor with tile in a powder room. I did not want to do everything all at once, so when I requested an estimate, they came out and measured all areas, but broke it up as requested. No pressure and answered all my questions. Everyone there is very knowledgeable. Both installations went well and look great! I especially appreciated the time the tile installer took to discuss the layout with me. I chose a larger tile for a smaller space, which is typically difficult to work with, but he had great suggestions and I couldn't be happier with the finished product! I highly recommend this team of experts for your next flooring project!

We went to Clawes Carpets in Clifton, VA to replace two stairway runners. From the initial store visit, to the measurement visit and the final installation they were very helpful, courteous and professional. The installed runners look great and there were some extra touches that actually exceeded our expectations. Reasonable price as well.

Incredible service and quality! I highly recommend Clawes Carpets for both hardwood and carpeting. We had them update the flooring in our house when we bought it. Luis and Bobby (the owner) helped us identify what would work best in our space. They even identified an expensive carpet that they insisted we NOT replace! The work was done flawlessly and they worked within our timeframe. They employ all of their installers and warranty everything. We had a stair riser that looked out of place and they replaced it for us. We got beautiful floors that should last a lifetime thanks to the Clawes team!

We had Clawes install hardwood floors on our main level, and install LVP in the basement. They were great throughout the entire process. The people in the showroom patiently dealt with our many questions. The person who came out to measure the space was great. He even made a second trip out to reassess a tricky area near the kitchen. And the installation went smoothly and efficiently. The floors look great!
