I am so happy that I was able to get Georg and his team to get the water damage resolved. The ceiling in our basement had fallen due to water leakage and there were signs of water in the hardwood floor as well. I got initial estimates from 3 other companies in the area and they were way overpriced. Georg kept everything to the point and was very informative in getting this resolved asap. Working with Georg and his team will make you wish that all contractors were like them.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Jack who came out to check out whether we had mold or not. He was awesome! Friendly, interested in teaching us what we should be looking for, and great at suggesting what it might be while being clear that it was hard to say for sure (but that it wasn’t mold). I’ll be referring Restoration 1 to everyone who needs someone for this type of work. My friend who is a realtor recommended them to me, and she has very high standards, so I wasn't surprised when they were amazing.

Bright and Early on Jan 8th, 2018 the temperature in our house began to drop by several degrees every hour or two. When it neared <60 degrees F. I decided to check the airhandler units in the basement. Upon hitting a wall of steam and heat so thick that I could not see through my glasses I knew there was a problem. I quickly found that I was sloshing about in over 55 gallons of water around the main air handler and found a ruptured water feed line to our whole house humidifier that was spraying water every where for an indeterminate amount of time. I quickly found the cut off valve and shut the water supply off, grabbed the wet/dry vac and started to suck up over 55 gallons of water.
