This guy made a mess of our yard. We had cleaned it up and asked for 3 trees to be removed. He came out for 2 hours and left limbs all over the place. Shady and dishonest. UPDATED: Mr Grimes clearly does not stand behind his "work" or company. See pictures of the mess they made and would never come out to finish. What he did wasn't even part of the contract. It took weeks for us to clean this up. Almost anyone can cut stuff down, it's doing the job you agreed to do and completing it that counts.

Awful. See Better Business Bureau rating. UPDATED: Mr Grimes most certainly DID do "work" for us. It took weeks to clean up the mess he left. It's obvious why his BBB accreditation was taken away. Trying to make false claims to try to avoid accountability is sorry. The attached pictures show the mess Mr Grimes made and never came back to finish. Let people judge for themselves.

I paid Kenny Grimes in advance to remove a tree and stump in April 2021 and the work was not completed. I gave him a month to do it, then 10 weeks, then another 8 weeks and each time he made an excuse of no crew or he thought he had a guy to remove it, but the guy never called him. After 9 months of waiting, I banned him from my property and demanded a $500 refund. No response, no refund received. I'm a reasonable person, but this is not acceptable. I don't even know if he's still in bidness.

Kenny and his crew took out 30 or so large white pines from my property doing multiple days of work and I couldn’t be more pleased. He’s exceptionally professional and affordable. I certainly plan on having them back in the future and would recommend him in a heartbeat. Regards, Dave

I rarely leave reviews--good or bad--but in this case I feel obligated to warn others about this business and owner, Kenny Grimes (one of the 5 star reviews here is from himself, FYI). He came out promptly in July 2020 to give me an estimate and assured me he could do the work I needed. The following week he came and did pruning totally unrelated to what I needed done and left a huge mess with brush strewn everywhere. Over the next 3 months he told me on 9 different occasions that he was coming back "the next day" to do the job and clean up, but he never did.
