Shawn from Coastal was remarkably responsive and detail-oriented, keeping us informed at every step and handling unexpected issues with patience and confidence. Our roof — a Westlake/Unified Steel metal barrel-tile system with Sol-R Skin Blue underlayment — was something few in the Tallahassee area had ever encountered. Even the City building inspector initially refused to approve the Sol-R Skin Blue underlayment because he couldn’t locate a Florida product code. Shawn personally worked with the inspector, providing documentation, educating him on the product, and ultimately securing the required approval. Called Shawn and his team. They immediately responded to my residence and provided me a quote. I advised them that when I was ready I’d coordinate to have my roof replaced. They understood and didn’t pressure what so ever. I reached back out 3 months later and the new roof was installed. I really appreciate the non pressure. This company is professional and very customer oriented. Shawn spent time with us to help us through the entire process of replacing our roof, to include; showing us samples, placing a number of different shingles on the roof to help us decide on a color, discussed pros and cons with different products, and product options. Price was very reasonable and competitive. Highly recommend this company!

They were efficient and quick. The people we spoke to were courteous and knowledgeable. The person who created the quote was honest and upfront and I felt like he explained things in a way I could understand. My partner and I are super happy with the quality of the work done. In fact, they were so swift and efficient, we didn't even notice the work had been done for a few days. I will make a note that we were not given a date and time to expect any workmen over to do the repair. I don't know if that communication got lost in my cluttered email inbox or missed phone call. I'm also not certain if that is normal for repair work. We're new to this sort of thing. Regardless, the criticism is mild and not worth removing rating as we are over all very happy.
