College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

I assumed the name was just catchy branding for a professional company. Unfortunately, it was very literal. The crew was young, inexperienced, and completely unprepared. They arrived with no dolly, no tools, and no moving straps. They had to leave to go back to headquarters just to get basic equipment. My husband ended up directing and managing the move himself. The movers scuffed our walls and bumped into them repeatedly. They did not assemble furniture, place items, or provide any of the basic services we expected. All they did was carry furniture off the PODS and set it inside the house. We now have the job of trying to organize and reposition every belonging. The only redeeming factor is that they did not charge us....which frankly confirmed that even they recognized how poor the servi

I had scheduled and confirmed a junk removal on a Friday afternoon between 1 and 3pm. I even got a confirmation text the day before. However, no one showed and now I have a pile of junk that my neighbors have to look at all weekend! After giving them an hour grace period, I finally called the support number around 4pm, despite the hold message saying I was next in line, I was on hold for OVER AN HOUR and by the time I got through to someone, they said they were the national hub and could only contact the local franchise to see what happened. By this time it was after 5pm so they said they probably wouldn't get back to me until Monday. To quote their own hold message "moving can be a struggle" but my move went smoothly until it was College Hunks turn - they were my only STRUGGLE. Would not

We had someone come out, give us a quote, and confirmed our junk removal. They were a no show for a scheduled time of 8am-10am. When I reached out to the gentleman that gave us a quote, he said he would find out what was going on with his trucks and give me a call right back. 2 hours pass and no return call. I called the main customer service line to cancel and they said my appointment had already been canceled. We were never notified. Very disappointed with their service, as we booked them because we saw them on Shark Tank and wanted to support them.
